Biography
Prof. Dr. SONG Yuanjian serves as the Head of the Jiangsu Engineering and Research Center for Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Polygenic Disorders (Xuzhou Medical University). Focusing on ischemic stroke, diabetic encephalopathy, depression, etc., he comprehensively uses biomedical big data, behavior, morphology, molecular biology, structural biology, and other technologies to study the molecular mechanisms of diseases, screen markers, and drug targets, develop diagnostic reagents and research and develop drugs at multiple levels, including group, individual, cellular, molecular and atomic. For model mice, he has developed behavioral testing devices and translated them. He has presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 key research and development project in Jiangsu Province, 5 other provincial and departmental projects, 1 lateral project, and 2 university-level projects. He has published more than 30 SCI-recorded papers in international academic journals, including Aging Cell, CNS Neurosci Ther, and Mol Neurobiol, either as the corresponding author or the first author. He is the chief reviewer of one textbook and the associate editor of two textbooks. He has supervised two undergraduates who have been approved for the Innovation Training Programme of Jiangsu University Students.
