Biography
Prof. Dr. LIU Xiaomei serves as the Immunology Discipline Leader of Xuzhou Medical University. She received her Ph.D. diploma from Nanjing Medical University, and as a senior visiting scholar, she conducted research on "Mechanisms of astrocytes in spinal cord injury and repair" at the Department of Neuroscience, University of California, San Diego, from October 2017 to November 2018. She has published over 30 SCI papers, including were published in journals such as GLIA, J Neuroinflammation, J Biol Chem, and J Pathol. In the study of the pathological mechanism of multiple sclerosis, she ever got the funding of 9 general projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, the natural science foundation of Jiangsu Province, etc.
