Biography

Research Focus: Mechanisms of epigenetic regulation in cancer; Bioinformatics.

After earning a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in January 2011, Prof. Zhang pursued postdoctoral research at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in the United States and later at Pennsylvania State University. Prof. Zhang joined the faculty of Xuzhou Medical University in 2015. In recent years, Prof. Zhang has published multiple research papers as the first author or corresponding author in leading international journals such as PNAS. Prof. Zhang has also received several research grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program) and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation (Young Scientists Program).
