Biography
Prof. Zheng, MD, PhD, the former President of Xuzhou Medical University. Professor Zheng is the former director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Immunity and Metabolism. In recent years, using biliary tract diseases caused by Clonorchis sinensis infection as a research model, he has systematically investigated the new mechanisms of innate immunity in biliary tract injury and carcinogenesis induced by C. sinensis. Professor Zheng has published more than 50 papers in top journals including Hepatology, Microbiome, PNAS and J Clin Invest.
