Biography

Dr. Jiajia Dong is an associate professor and a master’s supervisor in Medical Biotechnology at School of Basic Medical Sciences and Life Sciences, Xuzhou Medical University. She received her Ph.D. from Sorbonne université in 2019. She has secured multiple research grants as principal investigator, including the NSFC Youth Project, the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, the “Double Innovation” Talent Program, and the Xuzhou Medical University Outstanding Talent Start-up Project.

Dr. Jiajia Dong specializes in insect taxonomy, phylogeny, animal evolution, and population genomics. The current research focuses on comparative genomics and mechanisms of adaptive evolution underlying biological adaptation to environmental changes.
