Biography

Dr. Wenlong Du is an Associate Professor at the Department of Bioinformatics, School of Basic Medical and Life Sciences, Xuzhou Medical University. His research focuses on two main areas: (1) antimicrobial mechanisms of novel nanomaterials, including carbon dots, MOFs, and chitosan-silver nanocomposites against pathogenic fungi such as Aspergillus fumigatus; and (2) multi-omics bioinformatics analysis of tumors and neurodegenerative diseases. He has published over 20 SCI-indexed papers, with more than 10 as first author or corresponding author, including publications in journals such as Antimicrob Agents Chemother, Psychoneuroendocrinology, Appl Environ Microbiol, and Front Microbiol. He serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for the core Chinese journal Genomics and Applied Biology.
