Biography
Dr. Yi Liu is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Basic Medical and Life Sciences, Xuzhou Medical University, and currently serves as the Vice Dean of the School. He has been recognized as a "Blue Project" Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader of Jiangsu Province, a "Six Talent Summit" High-level Talent of Jiangsu Province, a recipient of the Xuzhou Top Ten Young Science and Technology Award, and an "Xuzhou Medical University Excellent Talent." He serves as a Council Member of the Jiangsu Chemical Engineering Society, an NSFC Project Review Expert, and a Discipline Evaluation Expert for the 4th Round of China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC). He has led or completed 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Projects, 1 China Postdoctoral Science Foundation project, and 1 Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation project. He has published over 60 SCI-indexed papers as first author or corresponding author (including 20 papers classified as CAS Zone 2 or above), and holds 9 authorized invention patents as the first inventor. He received the Second Prize of Jiangsu Teaching Achievement Award as the first completer. He has guided undergraduate students to win multiple national-level competition awards, including the 11th "Challenge Cup" Jiangsu Selection Third Prize, the National Life Science Competition (Scientific Inquiry) First Prize, and (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) Second and Third Prizes, as well as two Jiangsu Excellent Graduation Thesis Team Awards. Under his supervision, undergraduate students have published SCI papers as first authors, and obtained 2 authorized invention patents and 1 utility model patent as first inventors.
