Title: Deepening Jiangsu–Macao Collaboration in Medicine and Pharmaceuticals to Facilitate Industry–Academia–Research–Application Synergy

Speaker Biography:
Wu Qibiao, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Postdoctoral Mentor, serves as Associate Dean of the School of Chinese Medicine at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST); Principal Investigator at the National Key Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Mechanisms and Quality; and Physician at MUST Hospital. With over 20 years of experience in integrated Chinese and Western medicine education, research, and clinical practice, his primary research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic and pulmonary diseases and tumors using integrated Chinese and Western medicine, as well as studies on the material basis and mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine. He has led more than 20 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund. He has published over 190 SCI-indexed papers in journals such as JAMA Oncology and Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, holds more than 10 authorized patents, and has facilitated the translation of multiple research outcomes into practical applications. He has supervised over 100 postdoctoral fellows, doctoral candidates, and master’s students.

Member of the Expert Panel, WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional Medicine (Macao); Expert in the National Science and Technology Program Expert Database; Member of the Medical Committee of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region; Expert of the Advisory Committee of the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund; Chairman of the Cross-Strait and Hong Kong–Macao–Taiwan Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Cooperation Center; Vice President of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies Specialty Committee on Formula and Dose-Effect Relationship, among others.
