Speaker Biography:
Ma Huaixiao is a Research Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He serves as a "Key Member" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and is a member of the CAS Youth Innovation Promotion Association. Professor Ma completed his undergraduate studies in the Biology Base Class at Lanzhou University in 2011 and earned his Ph.D. in 2018 from the State Key Laboratory of Stem Cell and Reproductive Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has led multiple research projects, including two General Programs from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a sub-project under the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the CAS "Light of the West" Program, key projects in Yunnan Province, and the "Excellent Young Scholars" Program. His research focuses on early embryonic development and pluripotent stem cell homeostasis. His work has been published as first author or corresponding author (including co-authorship) in prestigious journals such as Science and Science Advances. Additionally, he serves as an independent reviewer for journals including Cell Death & Differentiation, Stem Cell Reports, and Biology of Reproduction.
