Title: Research on the Immune Mechanisms of Sjögren's Syndrome

Speaker Biography:
Professor Lü Liwei is a Tenured Professor at The University of Hong Kong. He serves as President of the Hong Kong Society for Immunology, Executive Council Member of the Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania, and Vice-President of the International Research Consortium for Autoimmune and Immune-Mediated Diseases, among other roles. He has been honored with awards such as the David Rae Award from the Leukemia Foundation of Canada and the Outstanding Research Award from The University of Hong Kong. Professor Lü has led over 20 research projects, including grants from the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Fund, the Joint Research Fund between Mainland China and Hong Kong, and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has authored or co-authored more than 120 publications and has edited or contributed to several books. Additionally, he holds editorial positions as Associate Editor for the International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases and Cellular and Molecular Immunology, and serves as an Editorial Board Member for Frontiers in Immunology, among others.
