Speaker Biography:
Huang Xufeng is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the University of Wollongong, Australia. He holds the title of Distinguished Professor at the University of Wollongong and is a Senior Research Fellow of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). Professor Huang earned his Bachelor of Medicine from Xuzhou Medical University and a dual Ph.D. in Medicine and Psychology from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He was appointed as a tenured professor in Australia in 2006, promoted to Senior Professor in 2014, and exceptionally elevated to Distinguished Professor in 2018. From 2011 to 2016, he served as Deputy Director of the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute (IHMRI). Since 1999, he has been the Director of the Translational Neuroscience Center and the Head of the Metabolic Basic Science Division. Professor Huang has edited eight academic monographs and published 343 SCI-indexed journal articles, which have been cited 21,608 times, with an H-index of 79.
