Opening discussions clarify research ideas; expert guidance opens a new chapter. On the afternoon of November 27, the School of Life Sciences successfully held the opening report meeting for general university-level education teaching reform research projects approved in 2023. Zhao Ziming, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office; Li Chong, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Life Sciences; Liu Yi, Vice Dean of the School of Life Sciences; as well as project principals Zhu Zuobin and Fu Yanyan attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Vice Dean Liu Yi.
At the outset, Vice Dean Liu Yi extended a welcome and gratitude to all participating leaders and experts. He noted that the School of Life Sciences attaches great importance to education and teaching reform research. This project briefing meeting serves to rigorously review the research orientation and implementation plans of the projects, laying a solid foundation for future applications for more university-level, provincial and national education teaching reform projects as well as teaching achievement awards.
Subsequently, project principals Zhu Zuobin and Fu Yanyan delivered detailed presentations on their respective education teaching reform research projects, covering research background, objectives, content, methodologies, implementation schedules and expected outcomes. After listening to the reports, participating experts put forward targeted comments and suggestions for each project, and provided elaborate guidance concerning the application requirements of teaching reform projects and teaching achievement awards.
