In order to fully implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral character and cultivating talents, deepen the reform of classroom teaching, and further standardize undergraduate teaching management, on September 1, Wang Feng, member of the Standing Committee of the School Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Ombudsman of the Provincial Supervision Commission, Gao Can, Dean of the School of Life Sciences, Li Chong, Secretary of the Party Branch, and Zheng Peng, Deputy Secretary, went to the front line of classroom teaching and went to the "first class" with teachers and students majoring in biological science and biotechnology in the class of 2023 to fully understand the teaching operations of the new semester and the actual classroom situation.
During the "Cell Biology" professional course, the school leaders carefully observed the teacher's teaching process, paid close attention to the teaching logic, student interaction, teaching environment and teaching equipment operation, and made detailed records of each link of the teaching. After class, school leaders put forward constructive suggestions to teachers based on classroom performance, and encouraged teachers to further optimize the order of content presentation in course design, pay attention to the details of teaching courseware, and strengthen professional-related interactive links to enhance students' sense of participation and stimulate interest in learning.
