In order to effectively carry out safety work before and after the start of the 2025 autumn semester and ensure the safety and stability of laboratories and teaching and research offices, the School held a regular early-semester work meeting on the afternoon of August 29 to arrange various tasks for the new semester, especially the safety inspection work at the beginning of the semester.
After the meeting, in accordance with the requirements of the School Security Office's "Notice on Carrying out Safety Inspections Before and After the Start of the Fall Semester of 2025", Dean Gao Can, Secretary Li Chong and the School's safety and stability work leading group conducted a major safety inspection on the School's laboratories and teaching and research offices. This inspection conducted a comprehensive inspection of safety hazards in the School's comprehensive teaching laboratories, scientific research laboratories, and teaching and research offices, focusing on inspections of laboratory water, electricity, gas cylinders, hazardous chemicals, instruments and equipment, etc., and urged timely rectification of discovered safety hazards to ensure campus safety and stability. Through the work arrangements and safety inspections at the beginning of the semester, all the faculty and staff of the school welcomed the arrival of the new semester with full spirit.
