On June 10, a delegation from the School of Life Sciences visited Xuzhou Kuoran Medical Laboratory for investigation and research. The purpose of this visit was to further promote the integrated development of industry–education integration, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and promote the close connection between the talent training of the school and the talent needs of enterprises. Li Chong, Secretary of the Party Branch of the School, Zheng Peng, Deputy Secretary, and some teachers and student representatives participated in this research activity.
First of all, the School delegation inspected the laboratories, theoretical teaching center and supporting facilities of Xuzhou Kuoran Medical Laboratory. Subsequently, at the research and communication meeting, Liu Xiucai, general manager of Kuoran Gene, gave a detailed introduction to laboratory development, teaching conditions, teaching management, and expected goals of talent training.
Secretary Li Chong said that cooperation with Xuzhou high-tech enterprises can effectively promote the optimization and rational allocation of resources, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements by establishing a scientific and technological evaluation system, and improve the production and creation efficiency of scientific research teams. At the same time, through the joint construction of practical education and internship bases and employment bases by schools and enterprises, colleges and universities can better cultivate high-quality applied talents who adapt to social development.
This enterprise visit and research activity has further strengthened the communication and understanding between schools and enterprises, provided a new path for the development of industry, academia and research, and at the same time improved the space for cooperation in various forms and fields for internship and employment work.
