In order to strengthen the quality management of the graduation thesis of the School of Life Sciences and ensure the quality of off-campus internship teaching, with the great attention and care of the school leaders, on April 28, 2022, the School launched the mid-term assessment of the 2022 off-campus internship undergraduate graduation thesis through the Tencent Conference.
The assessment process was led by five expert team leaders, including Yao Ruiqin, Liu Yong, Niu Haichen, Chen Renjin, and Zhang Baole, who led ten experts to listen in groups to the mid-term reports of 45 off-campus intern students from four internship units of the School, including Xuzhou Kuoran Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Kaimao Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Suzhou Microchao Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Baiaode Bioscience Co., Ltd. 15 expert teachers gave strict and detailed comments on the topic selection, experimental progress, thesis writing progress, PPT production points, defense status, etc. of the graduation thesis of each group of students. They had one-on-one communication with the students and gave precise guidance to each student's individual problems.
Through the joint efforts of teachers and students, in this online mid-term assessment, students have a clearer understanding of the writing of graduation thesis, strengthened the quality of thesis, and laid the foundation for the smooth development of the subsequent graduation defense.
