On the afternoon of April 20, the "First-Class Undergraduate Courses" themed teaching salon hosted by the Teacher (Teaching) Development Center and hosted by the School of Life Sciences was held online as scheduled. This salon specially invited Professor Zhang Yang, deputy dean of the School of International Education, and associate professor Fu Linlin of the School of Basic Medicine to share their experience in applying for first-class courses in "Anesthesia Physiology" and "Human Parasitology" respectively. The event was hosted by Liu Yi, Vice Dean of the School of Life Sciences, and all teachers of the School of Life Sciences participated in the event.

Vice Dean Liu Yi introduced the main purpose of this experience sharing event to the participants, and pointed out that the construction of first-class undergraduate courses is an important starting point for building high-quality undergraduate education. The two lecturers have made outstanding achievements in curriculum construction and course organization. He hopes that all participating teachers can learn from this experience sharing meeting, improve the quality of classroom teaching, strive for breakthroughs in teaching, build first-class undergraduate courses in the School and first-class majors in biological sciences and biotechnology provinces, and improve the quality of talent training in the School.

Associate Professor Fu Linlin gradually imparted experience and insights from aspects such as the key points of online course construction, preparation of application materials for online first-class courses, precautions for writing application forms, video recording, daily online teaching design and teaching methods of "Human Parasitology", and teaching platform construction, focusing on both macro and details. Professor Zhang Yang used "Anesthesia Physiology" as a model to introduce in detail the achievement introduction, course selection, course construction, and presentation and writing-level materials of the first-class undergraduate course, linking each other and sharing them one by one. Professor Zhang emphasized that it is important to choose the appropriate type. During the process, online classes should be "moving", online and offline should be truly mixed, virtual simulations should be "real and not virtual", and course construction should be challenging, innovative, and high-level, strengthen ideological and political courses, and put an end to "dry teaching".

Vice Dean Liu Yi expressed his gratitude to the two teachers for sharing their experience and made a concluding speech. This online lecture is a good case teaching and a good online course. He hopes that the teachers participating in the meeting will actively learn and do a good job in their teaching work. The school will attach great importance to and support the course construction work. I hope everyone can work together to achieve great results in the application and construction of first-class undergraduate courses!
