In order to carry out the major selection process for biological sciences students in the Class of 2020, on October 20, the School held a briefing on the major selection policy and the training status and career development of each major. All undergraduate students in the 2020 class, the Teaching and Research Office, counselors, etc. participated in this presentation, which was hosted by Yang Xi, a teacher from the Teaching and Research Office.
College invited three professional leaders and professional teachers including Li Chong, Liu Yong and Wang Liang to give special lectures. The three teachers gave detailed introductions from various aspects such as professional construction, professional characteristics, curriculum system, graduation development, etc., and gave one-by-one answers to the problems and confusions encountered by students during major selection.
This lecture will give students a deeper understanding of the talent training situation in biological sciences and the talent training goals of various majors, provide practical reference information for students' major selection, and help students further clarify their future career development direction.
