In order to do a good job in the mid-term internship inspection of graduates under epidemic prevention and control, and to timely understand and grasp the internship work and graduation thesis progress of our students at the internship site, on April 28, the School carried out an online mid-term internship inspection in the 822 conference room of the main building. Li Chong, Secretary of the Party Branch and Executive Vice Dean of the School, Liu Yi, Vice Dean, Ge Yuanyuan, Deputy Secretary, professional leaders, teaching management personnel and team leaders of each internship company participated in the mid-term inspection and report of the internship.
At the reporting meeting, the internship team leaders of each company reported on the internship environment such as work in the internship company, accommodation, main work, evaluation of the internship instructor, the progress of the graduation thesis, and the current problems and difficulties encountered. At the same time, they made suggestions and opinions to the company and the school. College leaders and professional leaders also answered students’ questions in detail and provided corresponding guidance.
At the meeting, students all said that the off-campus internship was a rare experience. It not only broadened their horizons and learned a lot of knowledge that could not be learned in school, but also exercised their interpersonal skills and deeply realized the importance of learning. They said that they would combine the professional knowledge they have learned with practice and develop a good habit of lifelong learning.
Finally, the School leaders and professional leaders reminded the students to pay attention to personal and property safety during their internship abroad and study more. When it comes to thesis, you must back up your data and proactively communicate with your instructor. If you encounter any difficulties or problems, you must promptly communicate with the school for feedback. After returning to school after the internship, the school will assign an on-campus tutor to each student who is interning in the company to continue to guide the thesis.
Internship work is an important part of talent training in the school and the basis for ensuring the quality of talent training. Through this mid-term internship inspection, the school further learned about the students’ current internship work, graduation thesis, and the situation of the internship company, which laid a good foundation for the school’s subsequent internship arrangements.
