On the afternoon of June 16, 2020, the School of Life Sciences held a working meeting on the online examination of the 2020 graduates in the conference room 822 of the main teaching building. Participants included directors of the teaching and research offices of the School of Life Sciences, course directors, invigilators, and inspection teachers. The meeting was chaired by Liu Yi, Vice Dean of the School of Life Sciences.
Vice Dean Liu Yi first explained the arrangements and precautions for the online examinations for the Class of 2020. He emphasized the work required before, during, and after the examinations, with particular attention to examination discipline. He asked teachers to communicate the University's requirements to students promptly, provide appropriate guidance, and strictly prevent cheating.
Afterward, Zhu Muchun demonstrated the online examination procedures and the settings and methods used to prevent cheating. The participating teachers also exchanged views and held an in-depth discussion on enforcing examination discipline and preventing misconduct during the online examinations for graduating students.
After that, Secretary Ge Yuanyuan discussed the practical problems that students reported in online exams with participating teachers and initially formulated solutions to student problems at the meeting. At the same time, she said that she would do a good job in students' ideological work in advance, focus on students' online exam room discipline, and prevent students from cheating in online exams.
In the end, Vice Dean Liu Yi of the School of Life Sciences summarized the content of the meeting and once again emphasized the discipline requirements for online examinations for graduates to the participating teachers.
