Recruitment Announcement for Talents of the Research Group on Immune Regulation and Tumor Immunotherapy, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Immunity and Metabolism, Xuzhou Medical University
[Principal Investigator of the Research Group]
Professor Yan Juming, a Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province (with special funding), is a Ph.D. supervisor. He obtained his doctorate degree from the University of Queensland in Australia (ranked 36th in the world university rankings) and has long been deeply engaged in the fields of immune regulation and tumor immunotherapy. The team focuses on deciphering the mechanisms of tumor immune escape, exploring the mechanisms of immune metabolic regulation in liver diseases, and innovating immunotherapy strategies. It has made breakthrough progress in the discovery of immune checkpoint molecules and the research and development of monoclonal antibody drugs. As the first author or corresponding author, Professor Yan has published a series of original achievements in internationally renowned journals such as Cancer Discovery (2020), PNAS (2023), Cancer Immunology Research (2018, 2020), etc. Among them, the research on the regulation of tumor immunity by MAIT cells has received a special review in Science. In total, he has published 27 academic papers, which have been cited more than 1,700 times in total, with an H-index of 18. He has applied for 7 invention patents as the first inventor. He has presided over 8 scientific research projects at the national, provincial, and university levels. He is a member of the Chinese Immunological Society, Deputy Director of the Youth Working Committee of the Jiangsu Immunological Society, Council Member of the Jiangsu Immunological Society, Standing Member of the Jiangsu Immunology and Metabolism Professional Committee, Member of the Anti-inflammatory and Immunopharmacology Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Pharmacological Society, and a member of the Australian Immunological Society. He serves as an editorial board member of the journal International Immunopharmacology and an editor of journals such as Military Medical Research.Currently, the research group consists of 3 lecturers, 2 full-time postdoctoral fellows, 1 Ph.D. student, and 9 master's students.
[Focus of Research Directions]
Relying on the multi-omics analysis system of clinical samples and gene-engineered mouse models, the research group focuses on the following aspects:
(1) Analyzing the molecular regulatory network of the interaction between tumor cells, macrophages and dendritic cells within the tumor microenvironment.
(2) Investigating the molecular mechanisms by which immunosuppressive macrophages regulate the tumor immune response.
(3) Studying the immune metabolic reprogramming mediated by neurotransmitter receptors and its relationship with tumor progression.
(4) Exploring the metabolic regulation of the liver immune microenvironment and the mechanisms underlying disease outcomes.
[Platform Support System]
The laboratory is equipped with a complete scientific research platform: multi-channel flow cytometry analysis and sorting system (BD Aria III), cell and mouse metabolic analysis platform, small animal in vivo imaging and behavior analysis system, laser confocal microscope, molecular biology research platform, a rich variety of transgenic mouse strains, animal disease models, etc.
[Talent Recruitment Plan]
The research group has sufficient research funds. Due to work requirements, the research group on immune regulation and tumor immunotherapy recruits postdoctoral fellows and research assistants with a research background in immunology, cell biology, neurobiology, tumor molecular biology, and biochemistry all year round, both at home and abroad.
I. Basic Recruitment Requirements
