From September 6 to 7, a four-member faculty delegation from our college was invited to attend the 1st International Symposium on Life and Biomedical Sciences, co-hosted by the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Korea University and the School of Life Sciences, Xuzhou Medical University.
Hosted by the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Korea University, the symposium centered on cutting-edge life science research and transnational collaboration. Participants exchanged recent research advances, covering frontier disciplines including neuroscience, tumor cell biology, microbiology, immunology and more. Professor Liu Yi, Associate Professor Yu Yanan and Associate Professor Tang Chuanxi delivered keynote presentations, introducing their latest research progress in diabetic cognitive impairment, neurofibromatosis, executive dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease and other fields.
During this visit, the two sides also discussed further cooperation in scientific research, student exchange and faculty academic visits between our school and the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Korea University. The talks aim to facilitate the establishment of regular long-term cooperation mechanisms and continuously promote international exchanges and cooperation of our school.
