To deepen university-enterprise cooperation, further advance the integration of industry, university and research, boost the integration of industry and education, and achieve win-win development for both sides, on October 11, a delegation of eight members from the School of Life Sciences carried out field research at Xuzhou Regional Cell Preparation Center. The delegation was led by Gao Can, Dean of the School, together with Li Chong, Secretary of the General Party Branch, Zheng Peng, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, Liu Yi, Vice Dean, as well as directors of various teaching and research sections and teachers from the Teaching and Research Office.
Li Ang, Chairman of Xuzhou Regional Cell Preparation Center, Dong Xinbo, Laboratory Director, Ding Wei, Laboratory Technical Supervisor, Zhang Xiyan, Technical Supervisor of Zhiyuan Special Inspection Center, and other relevant staff warmly received the research team. They delivered a detailed introduction to the center’s overview, product and technology R&D system, and future development plans. Centering on the theme of “Cultivating Practical and Innovative Bioscience Talents Oriented to Biomedical Industry Needs”, Gao Can, Dean of the School of Life Sciences, gave a key presentation covering the school’s profile, talent cultivation models for students, and the advantages of its curriculum system construction.
During the exchange meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the integrated development of industry, university and research as well as industry-education integration. The key topics included the construction of practical teaching bases for talent cultivation, the development of high-quality university-enterprise cooperative courses, the application of industry-education integration projects and research topics, the joint construction of cooperation platforms, and the improvement of the university-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation mechanism. In a cordial and harmonious atmosphere, the two sides reached a consensus on joint talent cultivation, resource sharing and complementary advantage development.
This field research has provided new ideas and approaches for the two parties to carry out multi-level, multi-form and multi-field in-depth cooperation, integrate university and enterprise resources, realize win-win cooperation, and jointly cultivate practical and innovative talents in bioscience. Both sides stated that they will appoint special personnel in charge of follow-up work, strengthen daily communication and docking, and ensure tangible and effective cooperation results.
