On June 10, a delegation from the School of Life Sciences paid a field visit and research tour to Xuzhou Kuoran Medical Laboratory. The visit aimed to further advance the integration of industry and education between universities and enterprises, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and realize precise alignment between the school’s talent cultivation system and corporate talent demands. Li Chong, Secretary of the General Party Branch, Zheng Peng, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, together with several teachers and student representatives participated in the research activity.
The delegation first inspected the laboratory facilities, theoretical teaching centers and supporting infrastructure of Xuzhou Kuoran Medical Laboratory. During the subsequent symposium, Liu Xiucai, General Manager of Kuoran Gene, gave a detailed introduction to the laboratory’s development progress, teaching conditions, teaching management mechanisms and talent cultivation objectives.
Secretary Li Chong stated that cooperation with high-tech enterprises in Xuzhou can effectively optimize and rationally allocate resources. By establishing a scientific and technological evaluation system, both sides can accelerate the transformation of research achievements and improve the innovation and operational efficiency of scientific research teams. Meanwhile, the joint construction of practical education bases, internship bases and employment bases enables the university to better cultivate high-quality application-oriented talents adaptable to social development.
This corporate visit and field research has further strengthened communication and mutual understanding between the university and the enterprise, explored new paths for the integrated development of industry, university and research, and expanded multi-form and multi-field cooperation space for student internship and employment work.
