To focus on common financial security and credit issues among college students and help students improve their ability to guard against financial risks, the thematic integrity lecture of the 2026 Xuzhou Medical University Integrity Education Campaign themed " Integrity in Heart, Action in Trust " was held in Zhicheng Multi-function Hall of the One-stop Student Community on the morning of May 28. Co-sponsored by the Student Affairs Department of Xuzhou Medical University and undertaken by the School of Life Sciences, the lecture was delivered by Wu Chen, Customer Manager of the Business Department of Bank of Communications Xuzhou Branch, and hosted by Hong Xiaoran, Counselor of the School of Life Sciences.

Centering on four core modules: telecom fraud breakdown, campus loan risk avoidance, personal credit investigation interpretation, and daily financial risk prevention, Manager Wu Chen first analyzed the core loopholes of high-frequency frauds such as commission brushing fraud, fake customer service impersonation and bogus loan fraud with real cases, and focused on introducing 8 new types of telecom fraud. She guided students to truly understand the root causes of fraud rather than merely memorizing basic preventive tips. Afterwards, she uncovered the inducement routines and high hidden costs of illegal online campus loans, advocating rational consumption and avoidance of excessive advance overdraft. Wu Chen emphasized that personal credit performance and rational borrowing are closely linked to students’ future development, and reminded students of the significance of credit responsibility through real dishonesty cases. Finally, she offered practical suggestions on daily wealth management and bank card security.

The venue was filled with a lively atmosphere. Students listened attentively and raised questions actively, engaging in interactive discussions about fraud cases around them and the national anti-fraud hotline. Integrating anti-fraud awareness with integrity awareness, this activity effectively helped students strengthen their capability to identify financial risks and protect personal credit, contributing to building a safe, honest and rational campus atmosphere at Xuzhou Medical University.
