On the evening of September 11, 2024, at 19:00, the School of Life Sciences of Xuzhou Medical University held the first session of freshman orientation education—a special safety education lecture titled "Building a Strong Safety Awareness" in Classroom B202 of the Main Building. This event was aimed at enhancing the safety awareness of new students, improving their ability to respond to various safety risks, and safeguarding their campus life.
The lecture covered three core modules: fire safety, anti-fraud education and general campus safety. Supported with vivid real cases, detailed statistics and practical tips, Counselor Hong illustrated the vital importance of campus safety. Through Q&A and group discussions, she guided freshmen to think and raise questions actively, enabling them to master safety knowledge and self-protection skills in a relaxing atmosphere.
Safety lays the foundation of campus life. Only with solid safety awareness can students grow healthily and the campus maintain stable operation. It is expected that Class of 2024 freshmen will apply learned safety knowledge to daily life and jointly build a safe, harmonious and beautiful campus environment.
